This one is true: GM Sergey Karjakin makes a move and switches his affiliation from Ukraine Chess to Russia Chess. Unlike the 1 week late April Fools by Catalos' Chess Heroes Blog this is for real and Ukraine Chess Fed president is not happy about it. Who will be?One thing is for sure, the world's youngest to achieve grandmaster status so far and his fans will find it easy to distuingish which one is the former's flag and the new one.

Actually my AFD joke was posted on April 1, not 7. one kibitzer at Philippine chess portal got it late and re posted it on the forum a week after. Earlier, a Czech chess site likewise re posted it 3 days after and they (Czech people) took the joke seriously!
