CAVITE BOYS HUMBLED BY NCRFA 1-6 AT THE START OF PFF U15 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

CAVITE BOYS HUMBLED BY NCRFA 1-6 AT THE START OF PFF U15 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

By

Mr Perry Parado Camba
President
Cavite Football Association

Vermosa Football Field, Imus, Cavite - The Group B of Philippine Football Federation Under-15 Boy’s National Championship opened its regional eliminations at world-class football field of Vermosa in Imus, Cavite today June 29, 2019. The group B is composed of the host team Cavite Football Association (CAFA), National Capital Region Football Football Association (NCRFA), Football Association of Rizal (FAR) and Rizal Football Association (RIFA). This home and away single round robin eliminations will be played from July to September. Host team Cavite showed rust as it lost to NCRFA in the first game 1-6. Just at the 7th minute, NCRFA’s Striker Lozano accidentally tangled at CAFA’s goalkeepers DeGracia’s foot that awarded him a foul shot and converted to open the scoring 0-1 in favor of NCRFA. CAFA’s individual skills were not match with the cohesiveness of teamwork of NCRFA as midfield Meriño scapes at CAFA defender and scored another goal at the 28th minute to extend the lead at 0-2 at the half. NCRFA scored 2 more goals at the 60th and 68th minute as Striker Lozano completes his hat trick for NCRFA. Cavite
Boys still fight it out and on the 72nd minute Midfield Cuenca escapes NCRFA defender to make it 1-5 but NCRFA forward Azur’s supposedly offside violation on a goal was counted to end the regulations 1-6. It was a tough loss for Cavite boys but still has 2 more game chances to advance to semis. The participation of Team Cavite is supported Llaga International Sales & Services Corporation, Cavite Football Academy, Cavite Governor’s Office, Geoscience Technologies, Inc., Cherifer Growth Vitamin, and Securage Secured Storage & Moving.

Cavite Football Academy News

The U15 Academy players, having won the Philippine Football Federation Festival of Football Regionals last March, are days away from playing their first game in the PFF U15 Boys National Championship Kicks Off June 2019.

It has been a full two-month summer of football for our U15 players, with opportunities playing in different cups and leagues. Part of their preparation and development is their team training, three times a week.

Official game will be on June 29, 2019. It will be against National Capital Region Football Association at 8 AM. Venue is at the Football Pitch of Vermosa Sports Hub, Imus City.

And in the younger age groups, U13 and U11, our players have been very active playing this summer. They have had the busiest schedule, I think, in the Academy. All's worth it as they continue to bring in pride and fame for Cavite Football.

We wish all our Academy players all the best!

Typical CFA Training Day

Hi there!

It has been awhile since we posted something about our Cavite Football Academy (CFA) here. Last night, I realized I've talked about several events here, promoted another club from Cavite and of course, Youth Football League.

Let me share to you what a CFA Training Day like for our youth and the parents as well. I'm blogging thru my small phone, pardon some typos if I may miss them.

Venue and Schedule

CFA regularly practices at the Philippine Christian University-Dasmarinas football field every Saturday, from 8 AM to 12 NN. The football field is located in the middle of a lush and verdant area of the campus. During summer, it is filled with bright green vegetation with the brown dry ground which serves as our academy players' canvas for painting their signature moves and sweat-driven football drills and games.

The entrance to field is a non-cemented road that can be tricky for the novice. One needs to be aware of what one is stepping on. A misstep could mean a sprain or worse, a broken ankle.

Once you have maneuvered through the entrance, you arrive at the tent where you can find white monoblock chairs and tables where morning lugaw is sold. Its a good place to fill.your tummy with food and get you ready for the day ahead. Near the tent area is an elevation and another spot, a better one I think, for those who would.love to see the action on a wider view. On this spot, one will appreciate the vastness of the field. You can bring your own chair and other must-have for a better waiting experience namely: umbrella, water supply, food supply and a pillow.

To your left you will find a long line of banana trees acting like a fence for the field and for stray footballs. On your right, the opposite of square, are tall trees that varies: mangoes and other trees I can't identify for now. Beyond this side is a big patch of land, a good hiking area for those who wants to have a peaceful walk. Take note: lots of bugs and insects which I find to be pleasant.

At the far end of the field is, I was told, where you can find vegetation and a place to buy cheap, healthy vegetables. They sell, during harvest, ampalaya, patola and sitaw. The choices must be varied but so far those three veggies are the ones I've seen bought by mothers.

For first timers, I recommend you walk around the area and try to familiarize yourself.with the place.

In the months of August to early February, the greens become greener, the grass grows longer and the place even becomes a haven for people like.me who.loves to stay outdoors. The "probinsya vibe" is very much around.

On a perfect day you can sit back, relax and enjoy the action played on the field by our players. You can have a great time exchanging stories about the players, football and.tournament results and schedule with other parents and guardians as well.

All this time, CFA coaches and players are grinding it out for their next game.

On a Saturday morning, when the sun is out and the guys are on the field, one can learn much about the football game and about nature. CFA has given the kids a place to learn football and commune with nature. I wouldn't want it any other way around.

Shout out to all the parents and guardians supporting our CFA blog by sending photos, videos and updates. These are the people who give support and prepare our players for games and tournaments. Hats off to all.of you CFA parents and guardians!
