Chess legend Boris Spassky visited the grave of Robert "Bobby" Fischer in Ireland yesterday, Tuesday and made few comments about his friend and rival. Boriss said:
"the man was a friend"
Boris Spassky lost in their 1972 World Chess Championship in an unstable political era between then two world superpowers. In 1992, Bobby Fischer won again over Boris Spassky which was the last, publicized major chess activity for the American hero turned fugitive.

In Heviz, An international chess tournament dedicated to Bobby Fischer (1943-2008), will be held in the spa town of Heviz from March 18 to 28, and another Bobby Fischer Memorial Tournament at Villa Martelli, March 11-19, 2008.
