IS there a link between chess and tennis? What are the points of comparison that we can use between these games? Is there enough scientific research done on this?
These are some of the questions I have whenever I come across the game of tennis. It's been publicized how our young chess superstar and now an Atenean, Jan Emmanuel Garcia played tennis and actually competed before shifting to the game of chess. Asia very first Grandmaster Eugene Torre plays tennis to keep fit and improve his endurance which is important in chess tournaments.
So what is tennis? It's history? Read on and try to link tennis with chess.

As I check more on the internet regarding tennis, I found out the historical background of tennis is the same with the Royal Game, it's shady and grayish! Interestingly, Tennis was also meant only for the Kings...just like our very own Chess game. Woh!
Well, I'm sure you've seen how Tennis is played. The game is played with one player to a side, doubles with two. Service alternates with each game, and courts are exchanged after every odd-numbered game in each set. And so on and so forth.
Fast forward and onto our hyper-modern tennis era. We have been served and we have been blessed to see such beauty (facial, body and skills) play on court. Sharapova's beauty is there, 
Tatiana Golovin too is a French beauty... and many more. Question is, what do they wear? Tennis Skirts they look gorgeous and they play like assasins on the loose. Tennis skirts or tennis skorts? Are these the secrets of champs? Sometimes, these lovelies would like to play with polo shirts on and they wear tennis shirts , tennis polo shirts. Sometimes, angry male bitter losers tear these shirts! Hehehehe! Champions don't just use tennis racquets with ordinary tennis strings. Branded tennis racquet strings a must.So who's who in World Tennis nowadays? By the way, just like chess, tennis uses ratings and rankings to see who is on top and who's catching up. And yes, we do have our own chess beauties, it's just that in chess, you don't need to wear any of those skirts, skorts and sleeveless shirts to show-off your inner beauty.
