Some weeks ago, I found bloggers ringing a silent protest to what the current world number 1 wrote in Time magazine called The Indian Defense.
I didn't have much interest to check on it for fear that I might react to the issue which by the way I found uninteresting. First, why border on sensationalism when GM Anand simply stated facts about his chess life and his thoughts about the origins of chess. Well, prob'ly blog traffic was at stake for some bloggers.
And then, further down the bend, the American championships. Yes, the armaggedon issue... where the losing chick threw chess pieces away. My immediate recall? GM Susan Polgar's "win with grace, lose with dignity".
It was controversial in itself but sensationalizing tha' one didn't help at all.
Well, here's something I'd like you all to read. An issue worth bringing out in the open. An issue we all can relate to,GK in Politics.
And after finding serenity and comfort in seeing the humane side of the former world champion, please check out the video below and appreciate the beauty of the human brain:
Now that's an issue!
