My favorite player during GMA Cup!

It was a gloomy day for Filipino GM's that nobody among them got to the top ten finish at the GMA Cup held recently at Duty Free shopping complex. Instead, an unknown Chinese super GM Zhang Pengxiang dominated the event.

Aside from our Filipino GM’s competed, I mostlikely bet US Champion Onischuk to win the event. Witnessing the event midway up to the awarding ceremonies with our GM’s no show because of their poor performance perhaps Here is a Rd 3 game between Onischuk and Torre at Turin Olympiad 2006 for which Torre used his experience and expertise in endgame battle that escapes him from defeat and ends in a draw.

White: Onischuk, Alexander
Black: Torre, Eugenio
