Hi guys!
As I was looking for chess caricatures to use for my first day After School Activity flyers, I stumbeld upon these sites and I loved the contents of the works of Scott Mccloud. Here are the links:
1. http://www.scottmccloud.com/index.html
He wanted to become a World Chess Champion but when he was 15, he decided to become a professional comic book artist. His rendition of his chess life is somehow very touching. You can use the phrase "My Obsession with Chess" as your keyword search and ka boom! Your in for a hearwarming story of someone who lived a liffe of a chessplayer and the results... Check it out!
2. http://www.angelfire.com/games/SBChess/mega.html
This one is called Sarah's Chess Gallery. I have not really spent some time exploring this site but it sure looks a terrific site for all of us.
3. http://www.chessgraphics.net/
This site says "devoted to all chess graphics..." If you need some, get some.
4. http://www.tri.org.au/chess/
Chess on stamps? visit this one.
If you know any other sites about these aspect of chess culture, please email me.

, Kiko ... What a great effort to inspire people to improve their chess!
ReplyDeleteI found it difficult to follow the games and notes. I am wondering whether to copy the material and paste it into a document file.
It would be easier to follow if the moves, with notes and variations, were available in a .PGN file, to be imported into my chess database for review.
Thank you again.
