The Hungarian born Polgar Sisters got their psychologist father to thank for in much of what they are and what they have become now. Laszlo Polgar believed in the "nurture" aspect of giftedness and that genius is made not born.
A psycho as he was, he was great and believed pretty much in what he studied and worked on in his lifetime and that is Psychology. Nuts crack the best ideas I believe and Laszlo Polgar had a great vision for his children. He experimented in what he studied and he produced three grandmasters who are all females. The Grandmaster Experiment proven wrong the age old belief that women play below par their male counterparts.
We won't have all these enlightening literature about chess training were it not for the breakthrough work of Laszlo Polgar. We should also be grateful to him for producing the the book I am sharing below:
