Non-Master 1950 Below NCFP Rapid Rating unfolds on July 5, 2008 9:00am at 4th Floor Doña Soledad cor. Australia Sts, Better Living, Parañaque City. A representative from Magnolia Health Tea Drinks will grace the opening of the event.
At stake in the tournament will be P 3,000 for the champion, 2nd 2,000 and 3rd 1,000. Category winners are the Top kiddie, lady, senior to receive cash and medals. Tournament format shall apply the seven round swiss system the rate of play will be twenty five minutes per player to finish the game.
The tournament will be officiated by the National Association of Philippine Chess Arbiters, Inc. (NAPCA) and will be sanctioned by the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP). Registration Standard fee is Php 250 and Kiddies is only Php 150.00.
