Candidate master Paulo Bersamina placed 2nd in the recently held Laguna Chess Tournament at SM Santa Rosa. His rumored teammate to be for La Salle Greenhills, Giovanni Mejia finished first. From what I received, 5 kiddies shared first place with 5 points but after tiebreaks were applied, Giovanni Mejia came out as the winner of the kiddies category.
